Orbital Engineering, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to support an Owner Facility in Baton Rouge, LA, with direct petrochemical experience and consulting exposure. The role requires leadership of engineering teams and expertise across oil & gas, refining and chemical industries.

Responsibilities include leading design activities, preparing proposals, and ensuring adherence to QA/QC procedures. Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $180,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience in petrochemical environments (oil & gas, chemical and refining).
• Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to coordinate multi-discipline teams.
• Experience in consulting engineering environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute design activities for assigned projects, including self-execution and leading project teams.
• Lead project teams, schedule, organize and direct engineers, designers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare or supervise engineering proposals with scopes of work, schedules and cost estimates.
• Review engineering calculations, designs, drawings, and other project documents.
• Develop and maintain standards, specifications, and design basis.
• Direct junior engineers and provide technical guidance within the department.
• Support business development initiatives as a technical resource.
