Job summary

GovStrive LLC seeks a Senior Personnel Security Specialist to support federal clients remotely. You will oversee background investigations for permanent staff, guiding applicants and staff through the process while ensuring timely, compliant case handling.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with security discipline experience and a Tier 2 clearance or higher. You will work with multiple systems and protect sensitive data in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years in security or 5+ years in security disciplines.
• Tier 2 security clearance or higher required.
• Experience with background investigations and adjudication processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end case processing within eAPP and track investigations.
• Review SF-85, SF-85P, and SF-86 submissions for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with applicants, supervisors, and staffing personnel on investigations.
• Ensure compliance with Privacy Act and data protection policies.
• Provide guidance on investigation processes and policy interpretation.
