Job summary

World Insurance Associates is seeking an experienced insurance professional in Connecticut to independently manage client service, renewals, and coverage recommendations. The role emphasizes deep P&C knowledge, licensing, and proficiency with Excel and agency systems.

The candidate will handle policy details, renewals, endorsements, and client communications, ensuring accuracy and timely processing in EPIC and carrier portals. A HS diploma and P&C license are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Personal Property & Casualty with a comprehensive understanding of insurance coverages.
• Must hold state Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Proficient in Excel (formulas, charts and tables); Word and other MS Office products.
• Able to understand new technology platforms quickly.
• Proficient in agency management systems and carrier sites.
• Hands-on personal approach to customer service with strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Independently leads client service and renewal messaging for most accounts.
• Evaluate exposures and renewal quotes; determine which accounts warrant remarket.
• Make coverage recommendations and transact agency billing where applicable.
• Obtain signed bindings and notify carriers; review binding documents for accuracy.
• Setup and maintain account details, contacts, and policy information in EPIC.
