Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, insurance or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance, especially within an independent brokerage firm preferred.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, regulations and industry procedures.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation and leadership skills
• Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize duties
• Results-driven with a commitment to achieving and exceeding expectations.
• Team Player
• Ability to travel for required trainings, meetings, etc.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of a group of Client Account Manager on the Personal Lines Service Team.
• Responsible for the performance monitoring which includes the preparation and delivery of performance feedback that includes quarterly and annual reviews, developmental actions and disciplinary action.
• Responsible for training other associates on efficient processes and workflow procedures.
• Will facilitate team and individual meetings via face to face and virtual.
• Will be first point of contact for system related issues and ensuring resolution.
• Responsible for assisting in the new business process as well as managing the renewal processes for a specified book of business. Responsible for retention and net book growth of the team.
• Initiate renewal process with existing clients.
• Cross sell additional lines to existing clients and make referrals both internally and across all lines of business.
• Daily maintenance of automated systems consisting primarily of Applied Epic and Microsoft Outlook.
• Opportunity to sell new business earning new commissions.
• Will perform special projects as assigned.
