Job summary

Choice Insurance Agency in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Senior Personal Lines Account Manager to manage an established book of personal lines and act as the trusted advisor to clients. You will collaborate with carrier partners, support staff, and leadership to drive retention and growth.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of personal lines experience, a valid Property & Casualty license, and strong relationship-management skills.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License is required.
• At least 5 years of personal lines account management experience.
• Strong knowledge of homeowners, auto, renters, umbrella, and related personal lines products.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using agency management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary relationship manager for an established personal lines portfolio.
• Conduct comprehensive policy reviews and recommend coverage solutions.
• Process renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and cancellations.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and round out accounts based on client needs.
• Contribute to client retention and agency growth initiatives.
• Maintain accurate client records in agency management systems.
• Stay informed about carrier products, market trends, and regulatory changes.

About the Role

In this position, you will manage an established personallines book of business while serving as the primary point of contact forclients. You will collaborate with carrier partners, provide coveragerecommendations, support account retention efforts, and identify opportunitiesto enhance client protection through consultative conversations.

Book of Business Details

• Approximatebook of business size: $3 Million+ in annual premium
• Approximately1,500 households/accounts under management
• Agencymanagement system: Applied Epic and Microsoft-based tools
• Supportedby a dedicated administrative team that assists with processing,documentation, and back-end service activities
• Clientportfolio consists primarily of standard personal lines accounts

What You'll Do

• Serveas the primary relationship manager for an established portfolio ofpersonal lines clients.
• Conductcomprehensive policy reviews and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Processrenewals, endorsements, policy changes, and cancellations.
• Identifyopportunities to cross-sell and round out accounts based on client needs.

What We're Looking For
