Burnett Specialists in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Trial Attorney to join as Co-Managing Attorney, working with the firm owner to lead and grow the practice. You will handle cases from intake through verdict and participate in strategy, culture, and long-term planning.

The role requires substantial personal injury litigation and leadership experience, with a senior-level opportunity and meaningful influence over firm strategy and growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive personal injury litigation experience from pre-suit to trial.
• First-chair trial experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage a caseload and mentor staff.

Responsabilités

• Manage and litigate a caseload of personal injury matters from pre-suit through trial.
• Take and defend depositions, draft and argue motions, and represent clients in mediations and settlements.
• Develop case strategy and guide matters through all stages of litigation.
• Try cases to verdict when resolutions are not achieved.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials in the Houston area.
• Partner with ownership on day-to-day operations, staffing, and workflow.
• Help shape and implement the firm’s growth strategy.
• Supervise and mentor case managers and support staff.
