Omega Law Group, PC in California seeks an experienced personal injury attorney to manage a caseload from inception to settlement. You will diligently represent clients, draft pleadings, conduct depositions, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with senior attorneys to develop trial strategies.

California Bar admission required; strong advocacy and communication essential. Excellent research and writing skills are required, with a commitment to delivering results for clients and upholding

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the California State Bar in good standing.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaboratively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to client advocacy, integrity and professionalism.
• Excellent research, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategically litigate personal injury cases by working up case files
• Draft pleadings, including complaints, motions, oppositions, and other legal documents to advance case progression
• Draft and review discovery, meet and confer letters, and discovery motions
• Prepare, conduct, and defend percipient and expert depositions
• Argue motion and opposition hearings remotely and in court
• Draft mediation briefs, attend mediation, and actively participate in negotiating settlements
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and assess case values
• Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates and discuss case developments
• Prepare pre-trial documents and trial materials in case the case goes to trial
• Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and court hearings
• Manage and provide guidance to litigation assistants and paralegals
