Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas license in good standing.
• Demonstrated personal injury litigation experience, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and settlements.
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload and meet deadlines.
• Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and case-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a caseload of personal injury matters through filing to resolution or trial.
• Assess liability, damages, settlement value, and trial potential; strategize with clients.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and notices.
• Lead depositions and handle hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.
• Communicate proactively with clients about strategy and case status.
• Coordinate with pre-litigation staff to ensure smooth transitions.
• Maintain accurate case records and comply with deadlines.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support staff as appropriate.
• Adhere to ethical obligations and firm policies.
