The Fieger Law Firm in Southfield, MI is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join its fast-paced, high-performance team. This role supports attorneys from pre-suit through trial and requires a proven track record in complex personal injury cases.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of personal injury litigation experience, strong document drafting skills, familiarity with Michigan court rules, and the ability to manage heavy caseloads with independence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of personal injury litigation experience; trial experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of Michigan court rules and civil procedure.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, independent, and proactive.
• Experience with Practice Master and Worldox preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex personal injury cases independently from pre-suit through trial.
• Draft and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and client correspondence.
• Prepare, organize, and review medical records, depositions, and trial exhibits.
• Summarize medical records and deposition transcripts for attorney review.
• Maintain detailed litigation calendars, monitor deadlines, and ensure compliance with court rules.
• Coordinate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionally.
• Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files with precision.
