Responsibilities

• Manage an established plaintiff-side personal injury litigation caseload.
• Handle motor vehicle accident litigation from filing through settlement or trial.
• Develop case strategy, evaluate liability and damages, and negotiate favorable resolutions.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct depositions and represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Prepare clients, witnesses, and experts for litigation and trial.
• Serve as first- or second-chair trial counsel.
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and the litigation team.

Position Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is recruiting for a Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join a growing plaintiff-side law firm in El Segundo, CA.

This role is ideal for an experienced litigator who will manage an established caseload focused primarily on motor vehicle accident cases. With dedicated litigation support and no billable hour or business development responsibilities, you'll be able to focus on case strategy, negotiations, client advocacy, and trial work.

Responsibilities

• Manage an established plaintiff-side personal injury litigation caseload
• Handle primarily motor vehicle accident litigation from filing through settlement or trial
• Develop case strategy, evaluate liability and damages, and negotiate favorable resolutions
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
