Job summary

Blankingship & Keith, PC, a Fairfax City law firm, seeks an experienced legal assistant to support Personal Injury attorneys from intake to disposition. Candidate will handle litigation support, document preparation, e-filing, and complex correspondence, using AI and firm systems.

You will manage calendars, time entries, billing, travel coordination, and file maintenance, working in a close-knit team with strong proofreading and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
• Strong communication and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents for state and federal court filings, including discovery, subpoenas, pleadings, and motions.
• Perform e-filing in various courts and manage document management systems.
• Schedule meetings, maintain attorney calendars, and handle new client intake.
• Handle time entry and billing; coordinate travel and reimbursements.
