Qualifications

• Virginia Bar admission required
• Other Bar memberships (DC and MD) helpful
• At least two years of personal injury experience
• Familiarity with civil procedure
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Actively review cases in pre-litigation, ensuring medical records are received and investigations are complete
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and staff
• Evaluate cases for potential resolution and need for litigation
• Represent clients in circuit and general district court proceedings
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions
• Negotiate settlements for clients
• Administrative and other management functions related to the practice of law
