Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma, high school equivalency, or currently attending high school
• Six months of accountable cash handling/transaction management in retail or customer service
• Successful completion of the FNBT Step Program for internal employees
• Ability to work with coworkers and in a team environment
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must pass background investigation per company policy

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling cash receipts and payments in a high-volume sales environment
• Follow established bank policies and supervisor directions
• Evaluate customer relationships to offer bank products and services
• Aim for personal monthly new account production as assigned by management
• Participate in in-store prospecting and active sales activities
• Process deposits and payouts, record transactions accurately, balance daily operations
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts and endorsements
• Guard against counterfeit checks and improper identifications
• Enter transactions in computer system and issue receipts
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors
