Job summary

Peoples Security Bank & Trust Company is seeking a customer-focused Personal Banker to deliver exceptional service and financial solutions at our Wyoming County branch. You will counsel clients, support in-person or virtual banking, and handle core branch transactions with accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities include cash handling, ATM and vault support, and directing clients to appropriate loan or wealth management partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or General Banking Diploma preferred. Training in customer service and relationship management is beneficial.
• Strong communication across channels and effective problem solving are essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional customer experience and counsels clients on financial solutions.
• Supports clients in-person or virtually as part of the branch team.
• Processes daily branch transactions accurately and compliantly (deposits, withdrawals, payments, wires, etc.).
• Balances cash drawer and ATM operations; assists with vault activities and cash handling.
• Provides guidance on products and services, and refers clients to partners for loans, cash management, or wealth services as needed.
• May supervise Personal Bankers and participate in talent development and recruitment as appropriate.
