Job summary

SAIC is looking for a Senior Personnel Security (PERSEC) SME to support a dynamic, multi-year US Government program. You will join a team delivering security expertise across a broad portfolio, ensuring protection of personnel and assets while enabling mission success.

The role requires TS/SCI with Poly, a related Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and 14+ years in personnel security. You will develop PERSEC security plans, conduct audits, and train staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold TS/SCI with Poly to be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management or related field, or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum of 14 years of experience in personnel security or similar role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Government related software and security databases.
• Knowledge of federal security regulations (SEAD 4, NISPOM).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with government leadership.
• Experience developing and implementing PERSEC security plans and procedures.
• Strong PERSEC investigative and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Familiarity with clearance processing activities for Government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform high accuracy data entry and maintain security records and databases.
• Communicate with Government agencies, contractors and team members.
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Process documents from Government agencies and contractors (NDAs, enrollment forms, etc.).
• Coordinate with Government agencies and contractors to facilitate clearance and provide updates.
• Conduct PERSEC security audits and ensure compliance.
• Provide PERSEC security training and awareness.
• Develop and implement PERSEC Security Plans and procedures.
• Monitor PERSEC incidents, investigations and reports for improvements.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
