Job summary

SAIC is seeking a PERSEC Security Specialist at our Colorado Springs, CO location to support USSF/SSC missions. You will assist CPSOs, manage SCI/SAP referrals, and ensure protection of sensitive information in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

The role emphasizes program security duties, training, and SOP implementation, with potential off-hours support and on-going mentorship for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in security or related field; 6+ years of experience or 4 extra years in lieu of degree.
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility; willingness to polygraph.
• Familiarity with OPSEC, Program Protection, Personnel Security, Security Training and Education, and Classification management.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, track, and monitor SCI and SAP clearance and program access requests with government personnel.
• Manage PERSEC program actions: nominations, access requirements, NDAs, LOCNs, and related actions.
• Process PARs for SAPNP; ensure accuracy and eligibility.
• Enter data in JADE and DISS; maintain contract personnel records.
• Conduct SAP indoctrinations and manage program accesses for contract personnel.
• Safeguard collateral, SCI, SAP, and COMSEC information and equipment; oversee Top Secret accountability.
• Support government offices and security officers in security program development and maintenance.
• Lead security awareness, training, and education programs.
