Job summary
Jacobs is seeking a Permitting Lead to drive environmental permitting across Wyoming and the Western U.S. You will lead strategy, coordinate with agencies, manage teams, and support business development in a hybrid Denver/Wyoming/Utah footprint.
The role requires a strong background in environmental planning and regulatory coordination, with minimum 10 years’ experience and a track record of delivering complex permit packages on time and within budget. Hybrid work is offered.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of experience in environmental planning, permitting, consulting, or project management.
- Experience with Wyoming/state/federal permitting processes and agencies.
Responsibilities
- Lead environmental permitting strategy development and execution.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Support business development, proposals, and client engagement.
- Lead stakeholder outreach and public meetings.
- Ensure QA/QC of environmental documents and manage budgets.
