Job summary

Jacobs in the United States is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental review, permitting, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery for infrastructure and energy projects across the West.

The role can be based in Denver, CO, Wyoming, or Salt Lake City, UT, with a hybrid schedule. You will mentor teams, manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk, and serve as a primary client interface.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of environmental planning, permitting, or project management.
• Wyoming permitting experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to reside in Denver, CO; Wyoming; or within driving distance of Cheyenne, WY.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permitting and planning for major infrastructure projects.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Prepare and oversee federal, state, and local permitting packages and docs.
• Interface with clients, building relationships and practical regulatory solutions.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, tribal groups, and partners.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, public meetings, workshops, and agency presentations.
• Ensure projects meet client schedules and permitting milestones.
• Conduct QA/QC to align with requirements and Jacobs standards.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development.
• Provide regulatory guidance across project lifecycles.
