Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Experienced RN - Perioperative Specialty Coordinator for the Pediatric OR in Oklahoma City. The RN III will lead nursing practice, mentor teammates, and uphold OU Health's patient-first values while delivering high-quality perioperative care.

Required are a BSN, 5+ years RN experience, and an Oklahoma RN license with BLS; a MSN and specialty certifications are preferred. OU Health offers strong benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Master's degree in nursing preferred.
• 5+ years of RN patient care experience.
• Current RN license (OK or multi-state) and BLS certification.
• Specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to perioperative patients and others per unit needs.
• Document patient responses and changes to orders accurately.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures as a resource for complex cases.
• Monitor and administer medications and IV infusions.
• Mentor and coach staff; participate in staffing planning and professional development.
