Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma City seeks an RN Manager for Pediatric OR to lead day-to-day operations in Surgical Services. You will uphold nursing standards, drive safety, quality metrics, and staff performance while partnering with physicians and leaders to deliver exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of leadership experience, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, RN license in Oklahoma, and strong communication skills. This full-time role offers a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in nursing.
• Current RN license in Oklahoma (or eNLC) with residency within 6 months.
• BLS certification required on hire.
• Nursing leadership certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for clinical care and departmental performance and metrics.
• Develops and implements quality improvement initiatives to promote safety, civility and mitigate bias.
• Manages department budget and resources, and understands financial processes.
• Establishes and implements policies and procedures; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Leads and coaches staff, providing real-time feedback and development.
• Represents the nursing department to senior leadership and collaborates across disciplines.
