Job summary

UNC Rex Holly Springs Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team. The RN will circulate and scrub, preferably with at least 1 year of OR nursing experience, and handle both inpatient and outpatient procedures across multiple surgical specialties.

Hours are 36 per week, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7:30pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call requirements and relocation/tuition incentives available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• RN licensed in North Carolina; BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize patient care based on data from complex situations.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Deliver care for patients with complex needs following hospital standards and policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet unit goals and improve care quality.
• Support and mentor other staff; participate in staff development and cost-effective care.
