Job summary

Coastal Monmouth Dental Specialists/Advanced Periodontics and Dental Implants is seeking an experienced periodontal assistant to join our state-of-the-art multispecialty practice in New Jersey. You will assist doctors in periodontal and implant surgeries, manage sterilization, and help lead a small team with a patient-first approach.

Qualifications

• NJ Xray License required.
• Tech-savvy with Dentrix experience preferred.
• Prior implant periodontal surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support doctors and hygienist in consultations, periodontal and implant surgeries, and endodontic treatment.
• Assist in training and leading a small team of assistants.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols.
• Charting and recording clinical notes.
• Draft letters to referring doctors.
• Break down and set up treatment rooms.
• Serve as patient concierge.
• Take radiographs and Cone Beam Scans (NJ Xray license required).
• Support other clinical and administrative team members as needed.
