Job summary

Coastal Monmouth Dental Specialists/Advanced Periodontics and Dental Implants is seeking a part-time, experienced dental assistant to join our multispecialty team using state of the art technology including laser, CBCT, digital intraoral scanning, and 3D Guided Implant surgery. The ideal candidate is a team player with a professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• NJ X-ray license required
• Computer/technology savvy; Dentrix preferred
• Experience with implant and periodontal surgery and endodontic assisting preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting doctors and hygienist in consultations, periodontal surgery, implant surgery, and endodontic treatment
• Work collaboratively with a team of assistants and administrative staff
• Sterilizing instruments and managing supplies
• Charting and recording clinical notes
• Drafting letters to referring doctors
• Entering treatment plans into computer
• Breaking down and setting up treatment rooms
• Being a patient concierge
• Taking high-quality radiographs and Cone Beam Scans (NJ Xray license required)
• Other responsibilities to support team as needed

Coastal Monmouth Dental Specialists/Advanced Periodontics and Dental Implants is looking for a part-time, experienced dental assistant to complement our professional and caring team on Mondays and Wednesdays. We are a multispecialty periodontics, implants, and endodontics practice using state of the art technology including laser, CBCT, digital intraoral scanning, and 3D Guided Implant surgery.

We are looking for an outstanding dental assistant. The ideal candidate is a team player with a professional demeanorand positive attitude who takes pride in day-to-day responsibilities, displays a strong work ethic, is reliable, and has the ability to embrace challenges and create solutions.

This is a great opportunity to expand your skills and take part in state-of-the-art treatment and patientcare. This position can be full time or part time Monday – Thursday. No late nights, No weekends.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting the doctors and hygienist in consultations, periodontal surgery, Implant surgery, and endodontic treatment
• Working collaboratively with a team of assistants and administrative members

Requirements:

• NJ Xray License
• Computer/technology savvy. Experience with Dentrix preferred.
• Previous implant and periodontal surgery and endodontic assisting experience preferred
