Dignity Health - Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, CA seeks a skilled Sonographer to record detailed ultrasound images of blood, organs and fetuses, supporting prenatal care. You will interact with patients, explain procedures, adjust equipment for clear studies, monitor comfort, review images, and present findings to physicians.

The role requires high-risk OB experience, proficiency with PACs, and relevant certifications; you will work in a busy hospital setting with on-call

Competenze

• Graduated from an accredited ultrasound program with 2–5 years ultrasound experience
• 2 years high-risk OB ultrasound including fetal echo
• Experience with US-guided invasive fetal procedures including amniocentesis and CVS
• CPR certification (American Heart Association)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or equivalent
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Abdomen credential

Mansioni

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures per department standards and orders
• Operate all ultrasound equipment, computers and accessories
• Demonstrate competency in imaging processing procedures (PACs)
• Identify and initiate accurate assessment of life-threatening conditions; troubleshoot equipment with service personnel
• Maintain and update the patient log daily
• Respond to on-call, STAT exams and schedule changes
