Job summary

UCI Health, California's leading academic medical system, seeks a Principal Perfusionist to provide routine and specialized perfusion care with extracorporeal circulation under the attending physician. This role covers advanced perfusion techniques, blood component management, and organ protection across adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.

The candidate must meet high standards for sterile technique, be able to work variable shifts, and demonstrate strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Two years of perfusionist experience, preferably in a level one trauma center.
• Knowledge of sterile supplies and perfusion equipment.
• Ability to initiate bypass for various patient populations.
