Job summary

SMT Group is hiring a Senior Performance Video Editor to create and optimize high-performing paid-social video for its international ecommerce brands. This fully remote role follows European hours and involves turning briefs into direct-response ads and reviewing performance data to drive iterations.

You will collaborate with Creative Strategists and media buyers, upholding high editing standards while analyzing ROAS, CPA and hook rate to inform tests across markets.

Qualifications

• Strong experience editing direct-response or performance video for DTC/eCommerce brands.
• Portfolio showing high-quality paid-social video and not just organic content.
• Evidence of analyzing ad results to improve creative.
• Proficiency with Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or similar.

Responsibilities

• Edit direct-response video for Meta and paid-social channels.
• Turn briefs, scripts and assets into compelling ads.
• Build hooks, pacing, captions, graphics and CTAs.
• Review performance data and develop next iterations independently.
