Envision Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer specializing in performance and load testing. The role involves designing, developing, and executing tests across APIs, HTTP services, and WebSocket-based applications in a hybrid NYC environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Locust and Gatling, distributed load generation, observability platforms, and strong collaboration with development and infrastructure teams to improve application

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Quality Engineering / Software Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in Performance Testing and Load Testing.
• Experience with Locust, Gatling, JMeter or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and WebSocket communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance and load-testing scenarios across HTTP/API endpoints and WebSocket traffic.
• Build and execute load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Analyze performance metrics including response times, latency percentiles, error rates, and throughput.
• Identify bottlenecks across application, API, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to optimize performance.
• Prepare detailed performance reports and recommendations.
• Support performance tuning and remediation activities.
