Title: Senior Performance Marketing Manager

Reports to: VP, Marketing

Location: Remote, U.S.A.

About the Role

At PaulHood we are transforming the mid-market CPA industry with an entirely new model. Our year-round membership model provides clients with expert tax and financial guidance, helping them feel more secure and realize their long-term financial goals. Founded 30 years ago by Paul Hood, our company has grown rapidly and now serves over 15,000 customers nationwide. To support our continued growth, we have completely modernized our business with technology and processes more akin to a SaaS company than a CPA firm.

In response to this growth, we are seeking a results driven Senior Performance Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and drive growth. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive omni-channel marketing strategies that generate leads, build brand awareness, and support revenue goals for PaulHood. You'll collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing on strategic planning, forecasting, and working cross-functionally with the Sales team to ensure alignment and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation Execution: Implement lead generation strategies across multiple channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, thought leadership, paid social, and email campaigns. Track and analyze lead generation funnel performance, optimize for conversion and ROI, and develop and report on performance metrics.
  • Strategy Planning Support: Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to develop and refine the overall marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and target audience needs.
  • Website Management and Optimization: Oversee the website's performance, ensuring it's user-friendly, optimized for conversions, and aligned with brand messaging. Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to improve user experience and drive results.
  • Competitor Tracking: Monitor competitor activities, analyze their strategies, and identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage.
  • HubSpot Management and Reporting: Oversee the HubSpot platform, ensuring effective utilization for marketing automation, lead nurturing, campaign performance, and customer relationship management. Develop and maintain marketing dashboards within HubSpot to track key performance indicators and provide actionable insights into campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Product Marketing and GTM Execution: Lead the execution of go-to-market strategies for new products and services, alongside the VP of Marketing, ensuring effective launch plans, messaging, and promotional activities. Develop and execute product marketing strategies that highlight key features, benefits, and value propositions to target audiences.
  • Sales and Revenue Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments as necessary to align marketing efforts with revenue goals. This includes providing sales enablement materials, ensuring a smooth lead handoff process, and establishing closed-loop reporting to track marketing's impact on revenue generation.
  • Ad Planning and Execution: Execute advertising campaigns across various channels, including search, social, and display, with regular optimization to reach target audiences and achieve marketing objectives within the budget assigned.

Who You Are:

  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business goals
  • Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decision-making and optimize marketing performance. Always thinking about how we track ROI of marketing spend
  • Results-Oriented: Proven track record of achieving marketing goals and driving revenue growth.
  • Problem-solver: Hands-on, critical thinker with a curious mindset. Enjoys the process of getting to the answer
  • Builder mentality: Thrives on building campaigns, analytics, and reporting from the ground up. Always looking for ways to improve processes to drive efficiency
  • Cross-Functional Collaborator: Ability to work effectively with teams across the organization, especially sales, product, and finance
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely

Experience and Education You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Prior early growth-stage or start-up experience
  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing with an emphasis on ROI
  • 2+ years experience with Hubspot required, experience with Qount a plus
  • Hands-on experience with paid advertising across Google (SEM and Display), Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, Video, Audio, Influencer, Display, and Native
  • Strong understanding of lead generation, lead nurturing, and customer relationship management.
  • Both D2C and B2B marketing experience
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Proven track record of success in driving marketing results and achieving revenue goals.
  • Project management skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel
