Job description

Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to join our exciting team in Boston, MA or Plantation, FL.

In this role, you will create, manage, and optimize PPC (Paid Search) campaigns, Paid Social ad campaigns, and/or Display Marketing campaigns (including universal or automated scalable campaign types) across multiple large and scalable digital ad platforms. This is a senior position within the Performance Marketing team, where you’ll drive both the strategy and execution, working hands-on collaboratively with business, measurement, and stakeholders across marketing teams to build launch and ongoing management strategies focused on new business units. You will manage and communicate strategy, plans, progress and provide performance updates to partners across the company. You must quickly run and analyze experiments, and make decisions prioritized by business impact. You will need to be able to thrive in a role that can absorb key details from an overarching business strategy, and translate those into a scalable digital marketing strategy focused on delivering measurable performance.

What You'll Do:

+ Own project work and support important projects owned by team members across the Boston, MA and Plantation, FL offices for the largest and fastest growing marketing channels in the company

+ Manage workflow for cross-departmental projects, providing guidance required to accomplish goals

+ Build campaigns from the ground up, including keyword research, competitive analysis, audience definition, geographic targeting, and ad copy generation and experimentation

+ Monitor campaign performance and pacing to goals, perform recurrent and ad hoc analysis, and flag opportunities to grow or optimize performance across performance marketing channels and tactics

+ Keep our ad campaigns up to date with the latest and greatest insight from ad platform partners, from the site, from our internal partners, and industry trends/insights

+ Analyze, experiment, and iterate to improve performance and uncover new opportunities, including running structured A/B and channel lift testing to determine the incrementality of digital media strategies and channels on key business outputs

+ Build new relationships and work in parallel with other disciplines at the company to produce world class marketing campaigns using business insights to fuel marketing strategies

What You'll Need:

+ Bachelor's degree or higher in economics, computer science, mathematics, marketing, or a related discipline

+ 7+ years of experience in performance media, paid social, and/or paid search in ecommerce or verticals with performance/direct response objectives

+ Experience with analytics platforms like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics

+ Intermediate experience in Microsoft excel (can perform complex analytical and organizational functions)

+ A starter / builder mentality that can thrive in gray area without clear start/middle/end points, while charting a course and building programs from the ground up to deliver results needed to make your program successful

+ The ability to analyze large datasets to gain insights and make recommendations

+ Strong mathematical, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal)

+ Experience with user-based or geographic lift testing, structured A/B or multivariate ad copy and/or landing page testing

+ Ability to work together with marketers, product managers, technical resources, business partners, and other ad stakeholders to make steady progress and deliver results

+ A tenacious attitude for learning and taking on new challenges, or entrepreneurial mentality
