Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, Florida, seeks a Senior Engineer, Performance to lead thermal performance evaluations for gas turbines, HRSGs, steam turbines, and CC plants. You will provide expert guidance, supervise engineers, and support proposals with robust performance and emissions analyses.

The role requires deep knowledge of power-plant performance testing, and experience managing technical proposals and bid clarifications, with travel ~5–10%.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical/thermal engineering from an accredited college/university.
• 10+ years of combined-cycle performance modeling experience.
• Familiar with Thermoflow, GateCycle, or Ebsilon software.
• Understanding of ASME Testing Codes – PTC 22, PTC 46, PTC 6, PTC 4.4, PTC 19.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction to peers and less-experienced engineers.
• Mentor engineers and actively share technical knowledge and practical experience.
• Prepare thermal performance and emissions estimates using appropriate engineering tools and software.
• Develop equipment-level and plant-level performance estimates for GT, HRSG, and ST; model hydrogen production facilities.
