Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a senior software engineer focused on performance benchmarking and automation. You will join a core team evaluating CPU/GPU/SoC performance across Windows, Linux, and macOS, building scalable benchmarking pipelines and hardware-aware workloads.

You will lead cross‑team collaboration, design repeatable experiments, and translate raw data into actionable insights for stakeholders while advancing cross‑platform tooling and automation in a fast-paced research

Qualifications

  • Strong object-oriented programming background; C/C++/C# strongly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and system-level troubleshooting across Windows, Linux, and macOS.

Responsibilities

  • Benchmarking & Workloads: Develop and maintain automated benchmarking workflows with real-world applications to evaluate CPU, GPU, memory, storage, and platform performance.
  • Automation & Infrastructure: Build and maintain automation and orchestration frameworks for workload execution, result collection, and analysis.
  • Cross-platform Development: Create and maintain cross-platform solutions for Windows, Windows on ARM, macOS, and Linux.
  • Performance Analysis & Hardware Collaboration: Debug performance issues with hardware teams and provide instrumentation hooks for data collection and insights.
