Job summary

AeroVironment seeks a Performance Analysis Engineer to join the Huntsville, AL team. You will analyze GMD systems, evaluate engagement and mission performance, and communicate findings to engineers, leadership, and government stakeholders.

Expertise in MATLAB and Python is required, with experience in C++ and developing analytical tools for medium-fidelity modeling and simulations. Knowledge of ITAR/EAR compliance is typical for these programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM field.
• 7+ years relevant experience.
• Active security clearance (SECRET or above).
• Demonstrated experience supporting MDA GMD Programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MATLAB, Python, and C++ analysis tools for GBI/NGI performance assessments.
• Develop, execute, and analyze M&S environments for engagement scenarios and mission conditions.
• Perform quick-response analyses for IDT and time-sensitive assessments.
• Conduct interceptor performance analyses and translate findings into recommendations.
• Support future interceptor analysis capabilities and methodologies.
• Interpret simulation results and provide technical conclusions to stakeholders.
• Deliver technical briefings on methodologies, results, and conclusions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address analysis needs.
