Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in perception for robotics.
• Proficient in C++ and Python.
• Extensive SLAM experience, ideally with ground-based LiDAR.
• Experience with extrinsic and intrinsic sensor calibration, including automated data-driven calibration.
• Nice-to-have: ultra-wide angle cameras.

Responsibilities

• Improve the quality and consistency of the product across a broader set of operating conditions, leading SLAM development and exploring new sensors.
• Accelerate delivery by leveling up sensor fusion and calibration, including multi-user/session maps and automated alignment of LiDAR and imagery data.
• Enhance power scalability and reliability by reducing dependence on extrinsic measurements and catching data quality issues at the source.
