Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Perception Engineer III to develop, integrate, and validate perception software for autonomous ADTs and water carts.

You will work with cameras, LiDAR, radar, GPS/GNSS, and inertial sensors to enable terrain modeling, obstacle detection, and safe operation on rough sites. As a Level III engineer, you will contribute to moderately complex features, collaborate with GNC and embedded teams, and help drive reliable perception performance from development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS/EE/Robotics or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in perception, robotics software.
• Proficient in C++ and Python.
• Experience with cameras, LiDAR, radar, GPS/GNSS.
• Linux-based development with ROS/ROS2.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and validate perception algorithms for autonomous ADTs and water carts.
• Contribute to obstacle detection, terrain understanding, and traversability analysis.
• Process data from cameras, LiDAR, radar, GPS/GNSS, and inertial sensors.
• Improve terrain models for autonomous navigation, path planning, and hauling.
• Collaborate with GNC, embedded software, and test teams for validation.
• Document algorithms, interfaces, test results, and decisions.
