NVIDIA seeks a Senior Perception Engineer to design and productize the next‑gen autonomous driving perception stack. You'll work on the core 3D obstacle perception pipeline, applying CNN/transformer architectures and multi‑modal data with a hands‑on, production‑oriented approach.

Responsibilities include building scalable, latency‑aware perception models, defining KPI frameworks, and collaborating with data, safety, and software teams to ensure robust deployment at scale.

Qualifications

• PhD with 4+ years, MS with 6+ years, or BS with 8+ years in CS/EE or related field.
• Hands-on DL perception systems; strong PyTorch experience; production-ready skills.
• Data-driven development with close data/labeling collaboration.
• Strong Python and C++ programming for reliable software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve 3D obstacle perception architecture and roadmap.
• Develop 3D models using multi-sensor inputs (camera/radar/lidar) with BEV or transformer approaches.
• Build production-grade DL models; run experiments and optimize training/evaluation.
• Contribute to data strategy including labeling and active learning workflows.
• Coordinate with safety, systems, and software teams for deployment readiness.
