Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft PeopleTools Developer to own the architecture, installation, upgrade, and ongoing operation of enterprise PeopleSoft environments. You will drive PeopleTools upgrades, manage search and integration, and partner with cloud and middleware teams to deliver durable, scalable platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
5+ years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration.
Hands-on with PeopleTools upgrades and PUM.
Experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, and application/process schedulers.
Experience administering Elasticsearch/OpenSearch for PeopleSoft.
Oracle DB administration knowledge.
Strong Linux/Unix skills and shell scripting.
Familiarity with PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or automation tooling.
Experience operating HA/DR for PeopleSoft.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and operate PeopleSoft environments across development, test, training, and production.
Lead PeopleTools upgrades, PUM image applications, and patch deployments.
Manage application servers, process schedulers, web servers (WebLogic), and the integration broker gateway.
Administer Elasticsearch/OpenSearch deployments supporting PeopleSoft search.
Perform system copies, refreshes, and clones with durable, well-documented processes.
Configure Oracle DB connectivity and collaborate with DBAs.
Develop automation tooling using shell, Python, or Ansible.
Monitor system health and plan capacity; tune performance.
Provide post-go-live support and triage incidents with ops teams.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks.
Mentor junior engineers through code/design reviews and knowledge sharing.
