Job summary

Irvine Technology Corporation is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Functional Payroll Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert and functional leader for a long-term PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 environment. This role focuses on the PeopleSoft Payroll module within a public sector setting and offers remote work for CA residents.

The compensation is about $155,000–$162,000 per year plus benefits and a pension plan. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with the PeopleSoft Payroll module.
• Strong working knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2.
• Experience supporting complex payroll environments, ideally in the public sector or education.
• Knowledge of pensions, 403(b)/457 plans, and multi-district payroll scenarios is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary functional SME for PeopleSoft Payroll within a complex public sector environment.
• Support payroll projects, system enhancements, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
• Address complex payroll requirements involving pensions and multi-district payrolls.
• Gather business requirements, develop functional specs, and lead testing and issue resolution.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT to optimize payroll processes.
• Champion PeopleSoft Payroll best practices and the long-term HCM 9.2 investment.
