Job summary

DMI, a leading digital services provider, is seeking a PeopleSoft Finance Lead Developer in the Washington, DC area. This role combines technical and functional expertise to implement, enhance, and support PeopleSoft Financials applications within the organization.

You will work closely with business users and IT teams to optimize financial processes, including GL, AP, AR, asset and cash management, and integrations with third-party systems. Strong PeopleTools and database skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of functional experience in financial management, accounting and procurement.
• Configure PeopleSoft Financials modules to align with business requirements.
• Develop and modify PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and related tools.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Informix, and DB2.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze financial business processes and requirements.
• Configure and customize PeopleSoft Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset, Cash).
• Develop PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, and other tools.
• Support integration with third-party systems for data flow and automation.
• Provide end-user support and resolve PeopleSoft issues.
• Assist data migration, month-end and year-end close, and audits.
• Prepare design diagrams and present solutions in design reviews.
