Job summary

The University of Kansas is seeking a PeopleSoft Senior Programmer within KU Information Technology. You will design, develop, test, and maintain PeopleSoft applications across HR and Student Administration, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data interoperability and system reliability.

The role emphasizes working independently within a team, applying advanced technical skills, and contributing to performance tuning and security initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with years of PeopleSoft experience as specified, or higher degrees.
• Three years' experience in PeopleTools and related tools as detailed in materials.
• Proven experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and SQL/Java/XML tools as indicated.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize PeopleSoft applications (HR, Student Administration, etc.).
• Develop and maintain integrations between PeopleSoft and other university systems.
• Provide advanced technical support, performance tuning, and security for PeopleSoft applications.
• Assist in system maintenance, patches, upgrades, and backups.
• Participate in project planning and documentation.
