Eliassen Group seeks a seasoned PeopleSoft Developer to design, develop, test, and support enterprise systems remotely for clients in the insurance sector. You will lead small projects, collaborate with business and IT stakeholders, and ensure quality through clear requirements, designs, tests, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years enterprise systems programming experience.
• 8+ years SQL database experience and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• 4+ years ERP experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and build consensus.
• Advanced problem-solving ability using creativity and diverse sources.
• Advanced communication skills for complex information.
• Web design, HTML, and CSS.
• ANSI SQL.
• Multi-tier application experience.
• PeopleSoft.
• Preferred: Java or C#; GL, AP, AM, PO, TE modules; SQL Server, Oracle, OneStream, Markit, Workday, ServiceNow, Hyland OnBase; insurance or reinsurance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead small projects with manageable risks and resources, and develop detailed work plans.
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements and lead user acceptance testing for updates and integrations.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications and integrations, including requirements, designs, and test plans.
• Manage up to four employees for a project or system, coach and mentor team members, and maintain team performance.
• Create documentation and lead architecture reviews.
• Develop estimates and capacity plans for support and projects.
• Manage operational efficiency scorecards for supported systems.
• Pursue continuous quality improvements and collaborate with vendors on roadmaps.
• Create and implement metrics and monitoring processes.
• Recommend improvements and apply standards and procedures for enterprise systems.
