Job summary

Our client, Eliassen Group, seeks a Peoplesoft Developer to design, develop, test, implement, document, and support enterprise systems. This remote, full-time role leads small projects, mentors teammates, and partners with business and IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining integrations and reports, creating technical designs and test plans, and driving continuous quality improvements across multi-year roadmaps. Strong PeopleSoft and ERP background preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years enterprise systems programming experience.
• 8+ years SQL database experience and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• 4+ years ERP experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and build consensus.
• Advanced problem-solving ability using creativity, experience, and multiple information sources.
• Advanced communication skills for complex or difficult information.
• Web design, HTML, and CSS.
• ANSI SQL.
• Multi-tier application experience.
• PeopleSoft.
• Preferred: Java or C#; GL, AP, AM, PO, TE modules; SQL Server, Oracle, OneStream, Markit, Workday, ServiceNow, Hyland OnBase; insurance or reinsurance industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead small projects with manageable risks and resources, and develop detailed work plans.
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define business requirements and lead user acceptance testing for application updates and integrations.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications and integrations, including requirements, technical design documents, and test plans.
• Manage up to four employees for a project or system, coach and mentor team members, and maintain team performance.
• Create documentation and lead architecture reviews.
• Develop estimates and capacity plans for support and projects.
• Manage operational efficiency scorecards for supported systems.
• Pursue continuous quality improvements and collaborate with vendors on multi-year roadmaps.
• Create and implement effective metrics and monitoring processes.
• Recommend improvements and apply standards, processes, and procedures for enterprise systems.
