Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Software Developer III with PeopleSoft expertise to support IPPS-A Army Payroll programs. The role requires agile teamwork, designing and extending PeopleSoft functionality, and collaborating across teams to deliver solutions.

The position demands a BS in a related field or 2+ years federal government experience, security clearance, and readiness to work in a hybrid Arlington, VA environment with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering, or 2+ years in the federal gov/DoD/IC.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft PeopleTools, SQL, and Military Pay experience.
• Strong communication skills; PeopleSoft Tools certification and SAFe for Teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Extend PeopleSoft functionality to design specifications using PeopleTools.
• Configure modules in PeopleSoft to meet design specifications.
• Provide estimates for work assignments.
• Document software configurations in prescribed tools.
• Conduct unit testing per defined quality processes.
• Develop software for application enhancements and defects.
• Perform peer reviews of colleagues' configurations and code.
• Explain technical approaches and code to team members.
• Demonstrate software functionality to end users.
