Job summary

Equip is seeking a Senior People Success Partner to provide HR operational services and strategic guidance to leaders across the US.

The role focuses on employee relations, performance management, and talent planning, acting as an internal consultant and trusted coach.

As a fully remote position, you will collaborate with the People team to drive compliance, data reporting, learning, and continuous process improvement. Strong communication and relationship-building are essential.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR Business Partner experience in a high-growth environment.
  • PHR, SPHR, or other HR certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation, employee relations, DEIB, performance management, and federal/state employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day guidance to leaders on employee relations, performance, team dynamics, conflict resolution, and career development.
  • Mentor leaders to resolve routine employee relations or performance issues.
  • Manage complex employee relations and investigations with objectivity and thoroughness.
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve relationships, morale, engagement, and retention.
  • Advise on hiring decisions and workforce planning aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Lead annual performance management programs for assigned functions.
  • Develop and report on People data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance initiatives and policies with People Operations.
  • Own and execute special projects as assigned.
  • Maintain understanding of the business's financial position and culture.

About The Role

The Senior People Success Partner provides effective HR operational services and advice to business leaders to support the delivery of Equip’s organizational objectives and outcomes. The Senior People Success Partner is an internal consultant on all People-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, and talent planning. This role acts as an employee champion, leadership coach, and strategic thought partner across all aspects of the employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding. This role guides leaders to manage and resolve complex employee relationships and performance management issues as well as facilitates partnerships across the People team to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect Equip’s business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to leaders at all levels for regular People needs including, but not limited to, employee relations issues, performance issues, team dynamics, conflict resolution, and career development.
  • Mentor and advise leaders at all levels to effectively and efficiently resolve routine employee relations or performance issues following best practices.
  • Manage complex employee relations and performance issue cases for assigned business functions and teams. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Work closely with leadership to improve relationships with employees, build morale and engagement, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Advise leaders within assigned business functions on hiring decisions and workforce planning, ensuring alignment with overall organizational strategy.
  • Enable successful execution of annual performance management programs for assigned business functions.
  • Develop and collect relevant People data and reporting to analyze trends, develop solutions, and inform strategic business decisions.
  • In partnership with People Operations, ensure adherence to compliance programming, initiatives, and policies.
  • Own and execute special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain an effective level of understanding the business’s financial position, objectives, culture and competition.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant experience serving as an HR Business Partner for a high-growth organization.
  • PHR, SPHR, or other HR certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Strong working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills including the demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships with leaders at all levels as well as the demonstrated ability to understand someone’s needs, offer solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Self starter with demonstrated experience taking initiative to continuously improve processes and systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Google Suite products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead and facilitate trainings.

Physical Demands

Work is performed 100% from home. May require travel from time to time. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
