Job summary

Equip Health is seeking a driven Business Development Representative to join our Patient Acquisition team. You will discover and build relationships with providers to acquire patient referrals, enabling autonomous, mission-driven work in a fast-growth setting.

The role emphasizes high-volume outreach, discovery calls, and CRM record-keeping, with remote work and limited travel for training and conferences. A Bachelor’s degree is required and healthcare experience is preferred.

  • Willingness for limited travel for training and conferences.
  • Reliable high-speed internet and an environment suitable for frequent phone calls.

About the role

Equip Health is seeking a driven and disciplined Business Development Representative to join our Patient Acquisition team. As a BDR, you will play a critical role in discovering and building out relationships with providers with the goal of acquiring patient referrals to Equip. This position offers a unique opportunity for autonomy and influence in a mission-driven, fast-growth environment.


Responsibilities


  • Partner closely with regional Clinical Partnerships Representatives to schedule a high volume of qualified meetings that drive referral growth.

  • Conduct initial discovery calls with prospective referring providers and clinical practice staff.

  • Identify and source new leads from target provider organizations via email, phone, and multi-channel sales approaches.

  • Hand off qualified leads and discovery insights to assigned representatives to drive pipeline growth.

Work From Home Additional Perks


  • $50/month stipend added directly to an employee’s paycheck to cover home internet expenses.

Physical Demands

Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel. Must be able to remain in a stationary period for prolonged periods at a desk or workstation, with the option to alternate between sitting and standing as needed. Must be able to operate standard office equipment such as a computer screen and keyboards as well as to exchange accurate information, actively listen, and communicate clearly with colleagues, clients or stakeholders over the phone, via video conferencing, and/or in person.
