ZipRecruiter, Inc. is seeking a People Business Partner III to support our Tech and Product organizations. This role provides strategic advisory, partnering with senior leaders to shape org design, performance, and talent initiatives.

You’ll balance hands-on execution with strategic guidance, driving scalable people solutions across a fast-growing environment. You’ll report to the Sr. Manager, People Business Partner for Tech & Product, and work in a hybrid setup with US-based offices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a People Business Partner supporting senior leaders in Engineering and Product
• Strong coaching skills to challenge and develop leaders at multiple levels
• Experience leading organizational design, workforce planning, and change management

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary People partner to VP-level and senior leaders across Tech and Product, building relationships and influencing decisions on organizational effectiveness, talent, and performance
• Own and drive the people strategy for aligned organizations, translating business priorities into actionable plans and outcomes
• Lead workforce planning including org design, headcount strategy, and succession planning
• Partner with leaders to elevate performance standards and drive accountability across teams
• Coach and challenge leaders on performance, employee relations, and organizational change
• Identify patterns and root causes across teams and design scalable solutions
• Lead organizational changes such as restructures and leadership transitions
• Leverage data and feedback to inform recommendations at the leadership level
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, People Development, Compensation, and People Operations to deliver integrated solutions
• Drive clarity in People processes and ensure follow-through on initiatives
• Identify opportunities to streamline People programs focusing on scalability and impact
