Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a People Experience Manager to partner with senior leadership, lead a team of PBPs, and drive people strategies across the firm’s business units. You will coach, develop, and align HR initiatives with business objectives in a complex professional services environment.

The role requires a strong background in HR leadership, workforce planning, and change management, with 10+ years of progressive HR experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a people management or HR leadership role.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders in the legal or professional services industries preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop HR professionals.
• Deep expertise in talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, and change management.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies to business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Business Professional PBPs and ensure high performance and inclusive culture.
• Provide regular feedback and professional development opportunities; set clear goals and monitor progress.
• Guide PBPs in talent strategy, workforce planning, performance management, and compensation support.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior legal leadership, translating business priorities into people strategies.
• Collaborate with HR centers of excellence and Legal PBP teams to implement people programs.
