Job summary

NexCore Group and Experience Senior Living are seeking a skilled People Analytics professional to drive workforce insights and planning decisions. You will own dashboards, reports, and leadership-ready analyses across compensation, benefits, and total rewards, translating data into actionable guidance for senior leaders.

The role requires 5+ years in people analytics or related fields, advanced Excel, and experience with HRIS systems (UKG Pro).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (HR data/analytics, business, finance, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience in people analytics, compensation, total rewards, HR analytics, workforce analytics, or related analytical role.
  • Advanced Excel skills with large datasets, complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and reporting.
  • Experience with HRIS and other People systems; UKG Pro or similar platforms preferred.
  • Experience conducting compensation benchmarking and market analysis.
  • Experience developing dashboards and visualizations with Power BI/Tableau.

  • Perform market compensation analysis to support hiring, promotions, and compensation decisions.

Job description

Use workforce, compensation, and total rewards data to drive people analytics and workforce planning decisions across NexCore Group and Experience Senior Living.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze workforce data across NexCore Group and Experience Senior Living to surface trends, risks, opportunities, and meaningful changes in employee population.
  • Own recurring People reporting through dashboards, reports, scorecards, and leadership reporting for key workforce metrics.
  • Analyze headcount, turnover, retention, tenure, hiring, promotions, compensation, performance, and other employee lifecycle trends.
  • Deliver ad hoc analyses for business and leadership questions, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Partner with People leadership to define and evolve workforce metrics and strengthen how People data is used in organizational decision-making.
  • Support workforce planning and forecasting using headcount, staffing, organizational, and historical trend analysis.
  • Create executive-ready summaries and visualizations covering key findings, trends, and recommendations.
  • Perform market compensation analysis using internal and external benchmarking data to support hiring, promotions, organizational changes, and compensation decisions.
  • Analyze internal pay practices, salary ranges, market positioning, and compensation trends across roles, departments, entities, and geographic markets.
  • Support development, maintenance, and evaluation of salary structures and compensation ranges.
  • Conduct compensation modeling and scenario analysis for annual compensation planning and related business needs.
  • Provide insights on pay equity, compression, internal alignment, and market competitiveness.
  • Analyze benefits participation, enrollment, utilization, eligibility, costs, and employee trends to inform benefits strategy and annual planning.
  • Collaborate with People Ops, Finance, Payroll, benefits brokers, and vendors to review benefit program data and identify cost or participation trends.
  • Build analyses that present a more complete view of employee total rewards (compensation and benefits).
  • Act as a subject matter resource for People data, reporting methods, metric definitions, and data interpretation in coordination with Director of Technology Performance.
  • Maintain strong data integrity across People reporting and analytics, identifying inconsistencies and working with stakeholders to resolve data issues.
  • Combine and analyze data from HRIS, ATS, performance management, benefits, payroll, and other People systems to create a unified workforce view.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting, analysis, and recurring People processes.
  • Establish consistent definitions, methodologies, and documentation for key People metrics and reports.
  • Support People-related audits, compliance reporting, annual filings, and other data requests as needed.
  • Partner with People Business Partners and People leadership to provide data and analysis for organizational and talent decisions.
  • Embed within operational teams to provide data-driven insights and contextualize what findings mean for teams and the broader organization.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives requiring workforce analysis, benchmarking, or modeling.
  • Proactively identify trends and areas for deeper analysis beyond requested reporting.
  • Improve NexCore and ESL People outcomes by strengthening the People team’s analytical capabilities, reporting tools, and data use (Goal: Reduce turnover, Improve recruitment efforts).
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in people analytics, compensation, total rewards, HR analytics, workforce analytics, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience working with large datasets, complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and reporting.
  • Experience with HRIS and other People systems; UKG Pro or similar platforms strongly preferred.
  • Experience conducting compensation benchmarking and market analysis using third-party compensation data.
  • Experience analyzing benefits, workforce, or other employee-related data preferred.
  • Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns, evaluate data critically, and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Attention to detail, commitment to data accuracy, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to translate complex analyses into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong communication and partnership skills across People, Finance, Payroll, and business leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring reporting cycles while responding to evolving business needs.
