Job summary

Uplight is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to drive our company forward and help lead the clean energy revolution. You will partner with business units to design org structures, manage change, and use HR metrics to remove friction, while guiding compensation, succession and performance across teams.

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and People Operations to keep stakeholders aligned and protect our culture as we scale.

Qualifications

• Track record of 5+ years as a People Business Partner or equivalent in high-growth environments.
• Strong communication & facilitation skills with leadership at all levels.
• Experience turning policy into practical, business-friendly solutions.
• Broad Core HR expertise across compensation, org design, employee relations, and employment laws.
• Experience supporting distributed or remote teams and global collaboration.
• Pragmatic problem-solving with focus on human-centered outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive business outcomes by understanding unit goals and tailoring people strategies.
• Guide growth and change through org design and change management initiatives.
• Turn insights from HR metrics and feedback into practical improvements.
• Own end-to-end execution for workforce planning, compensation, succession, and performance management.
• Navigate tough employee situations with care and continuously improve the playbook.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and People Operations to keep stakeholders aligned.
