Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in the United States is seeking an senior SAP S/4HANA PEO specialist to lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, testing, and deployment within discrete manufacturing environments.

You will elicit requirements from stakeholders, design complex solutions, and ensure seamless integration with PP/PP-DS/QM/PLM/PDM and MES systems, while guiding cross-functional teams and delivering training. Travel ~30% is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP experience with at least one end-to-end S/4HANA implementation.
• Hands-on PEO configuration covering BOM handling and EBOM-to-MBOM handover.
• Strong discrete manufacturing knowledge and PLM integration basics.
• Experience integrating PLM/PDM with SAP S/4HANA.
• Working knowledge of PP, PP/DS, QM; familiarity with ECR/Change Impact Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA PEO implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Gather requirements with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Design and document solutions for complex discrete manufacturing processes.
• Configure and support Engineering Change Management and change records.
• Ensure seamless integration with PP/PP-DS/QM/PLM/PDM and MES.
• Serve as SME for SAP S/4HANA PEO engineering and MES execution.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and resources.
• Develop specs, configs, test scenarios, and deployment artifacts.
• Support system/integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production support.
• Deliver Train-the-Trainer sessions and knowledge transfer.
• Promote standards, best practices, and governance.
• Travel domestically and internationally ~30% as needed.

• 10+ years of relevant SAP experience, including at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Hands-on SAP PEO configuration experience covering BOM handling, EBOM-to-MBOM handover using Visual Enterprise Manufacturing Planner (VEMP), shop floor routings, production models, and production versions.
• Strong knowledge of discrete manufacturing for complex assemblies, manufacturing master data, digital thread concepts, and PLM integration.
• Experience integrating engineering systems such as PLM and PDM with SAP S/4HANA.
• Working knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP), Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), and Quality Management (QM).
• Experience with Engineering Change Management, change records, and Change Impact Analysis.
• Familiarity with SAP MII, SAP ME, SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud, Teamcenter, or Windchill is preferred.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, high-tech manufacturing, medical devices, or another regulated manufacturing industry is preferred.
