Job summary

Marsh is seeking a leader to join the Pension Strategy & Solutions team within Investments and Retirement. The role is flexible in location but prefers West region offices and requires a hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office per week.

You will advise on asset allocation, glide paths, and risk management for pension plans, collaborating with consultants and portfolio managers. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in pension or investment strategy, with CFA or actuarial credentials

Qualifications

• 10+ years of pension and/or investment strategy experience.
• Strong presentation, project management and communication skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of data analysis, project management, and presentation design.
• High-level attention to detail and an understanding of its application to the bigger picture.

Responsibilities

• Advise on strategic asset allocation and dynamic glide path design for pension plans.
• Understand asset classes, risk/return tradeoffs, plan design, liability features, and sponsor constraints to develop strategies.
• Present results of asset-liability studies, glide path reviews, and portfolio structure reviews with investment consultants and portfolio managers.
• Model pension liabilities and fixed income portfolios using internal/external risk models to assess risk exposures.
• Lead clients and deliver advice on investment strategy issues and risk management for pension plans.
